Need some ideas for welcoming new friends?
Try some of these:
Someone new to the neighborhood? Place a candle in a basket along with a card that lists some of your favorite places in your town, i.e. church, restaurants, library, etc. You may want to include names for doctors, hair stylists, pet groomers… For more fun, add some coupons or gift cards to favorite eateries.
Someone new to the church? Have a small bag of treats ready for new guests who come. You could include sample beauty items, pieces of candy, notecards and a “Getting to Know You” card for her to fill out and return.
Someone new to you? Make a coupon for “A Latte Fun with Friendz” and send it in the mail or place on her desk to find. Tell her she can choose a day when she would like to go out for some coffee with you.
Show someone new that they are welcomed and accepted. Plant small seeds of friendship at every opportunity and see what grows!
