	a note from Pam & Kathy... “How many shopping days left until Christmas?!”    That question strikes terror in even the most devoted and organized holiday planner. But what about the rest of us? How did “Silent Night” become “Loud-Crazy-Can’t-Possibly-Get-It-All-Done-And-What-Do-You-Mean-It-Has-To-Be-Homemade Day”?    This incredibly special time of celebrating our Savior’s birth often gets lost behind the hustle and bustle of “To Do” lists, carpools, concerts and last-minute tasks.    Jesus understands how we feel. Jesus had a Christmas list, too. On His list He had a gift in mind for every person in the world. (That’s some list!)  His gift took love, planning and time. The gift was Himself.    So this Christmas season, stop the hurry, take a deep breath and pray. Ask God how you can show love to those on your Christmas list. Maybe rather than giving things, you can plan to give some time and love. Get ready to get real with God, others and yourself as you discover who you are behind the mask.  the holiday blessing prayer    One of our incredible friendz, Mona, decided to invite her daughter’s university friendz to her home for the holidays. What made this invitation especially meaningful is the students were from other countries and could not be with their own families during that time.    The students were given opportunity to experience a traditional American holiday with all the trimmings. Before the meal, Mona prayed a prayer of blessing over each student and their respective country. Afterward, the students commented on how meaningful it was to have a prayer spoken on their behalf.
