winds of creativity...

April provides unique weather in our part of the country. Blustery, warm sun-filled days mixed with spontaneous spring showers provide just the right mix for God’s beautiful creation to bloom across the countryside.

Are the winds of creativity blowing your way? Are you looking for ways to warm your friendz and neighborz with encouragement and God’s love? Look no further!

We’ve filled this newsletter with ideas, tips and reports just in time for your creativity to bloom in your community. Jesus sa
id, “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light” (Luke 8:16).

So this spring, let His creativity shine through you!

Happy Spring!

Pam & Kathy

session 1—finding class leaders

We are sometimes asked, “How do I get organized to start a Friendzy?” We answer, “Friendz! Friendz! Friendz!” The most effective event or ministry begins with planning and delegation. The “Getting Started” book included in the Friendzy Starter Kit lists different areas of responsibility that can be divided among your leaderz.

“What leaderz?” you ask. Actually, they are all around you. You may just not know it yet. Ask yourself the following questions. The person who comes to mind may be a good choice for a leader in the area listed.

Welcome Friendz
Who is the person to say the first “hello” when someone walks in the door?

Spit Spot Friendz
Who is the person who arrives early to help set up or decorate?

Connected Friendz
Who sends thoughtful cards and remembers birthdays?

Festive Friendz
Who’s always suggesting a new outing or adventure?

Prayer Friendz
Who would you call with a special prayer need?

Friendz Special Project
Who loves to rally around good causes?

New Friendz
Who makes friendz easily and always seems to gather a crowd around her?

Common Groundz
Who likes to invite scrapbookers over for a night of fun?

You see? Potential leaderz are all around you. Let them grow in creativity and you’ll make some wonderful friendz along the way!

welcome friendz

“We just had our first meeting to kick off Creative Friendzy here at New Life Church in Port Townsend, Washington . What fun we had planning our Friendz’ Oscar Night. Our humor shined through as we picked April 1st to pull this off. We are looking forward to having this time with our women, sharing and growing, and bringing new women into our group”
Jenni T .

Welcome Rona C ,
and our new friendz in Los Angeles, California.

Say hello to,  Christine K
who is a pastry chef in Katonah, NY. I’ll bet she’s Cookin’ Up quite a friendzy.
