Hope lingers...
Recently, our creative friendz and missionaries, Fred and Crystal
adopted a beautiful girl from China named Hope. Preparing for Christmas this
year has been extra special for them as they see the sights and sounds of the
holiday through Hope’s  eyes.
During a recent errand to a store, Crystal said that she and Hope
were looking at Christmas trees and decorations. Hope’s eyes were bright and
mesmerized as she soaked in all the aisle had to offer. So enamored with the
colorful display, Hope didn’t want to leave.
Crystal said at that moment the Lord spoke to her heart and said,
“Why doesn’t everyone want to take time to linger in My presence at Christmas?”
How true.
We mark our lists and check them twice to make sure that we
provide a perfect holiday for friends and family. Yet do we truly carve out time
in our day to linger and give thanks for the reason Christmas is even
celebrated?
May Hope remind us that this season is best embraced when we
linger in the beauty of His presence, our greatest
gift—Jesus.

Designed for Life
Conference
Pam and Kathy had a blast at the annual Designed for Life
Conference held at James River Assembly in Ozark, Missouri. Friendz were
encouraged to find new ways to expand and nurture relationships.
Pam and Kathy also emceed a comedic portion of the
conference highlighting the “Designed for Wife Conference” running concurrently
for the men.
