Once a Month Friendzy
Trinity Assembly of GodMontoursville, PA
TO: Creative Friendzy
FROM: Pam & Kathy
SUBJECT: Our Monthly Friendzy
DATE: March 8
Hello Pam and Kathy!
We’re completely loving Creative Friendzy. In fact, I’m wearing my hoodie (with the C.F. logo on the front - royal blue
with white printing!).
We pretty much follow the time schedule printed for the 2 hour friendzy, however…(you were expecting that “however”
weren’t you? Ha!)
Last week we used the “Great Idea” in the Spark portion of the evening. This is how: I had puppy chow
in dog type dishes on each table. At the beginning of the meeting I asked the women to take as few or as many pieces of chow
as they wanted, but not to eat them yet. Then, after all the ladies had taken some, I told them we were going to take the next
10 minutes to share with their table one thing about themselves for each piece they took. They roared with laughter and then
began. We have a hard time getting through EVERYTHING in 2 hours, so it benefits us to combine things to do. And,
our women WANT to talk. We desire to get our women to really connect with each other, and this definitely helps.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings of the month from 5:30 - 7:30. Also, we open our doors at 5 pm so the ladies who
would like to can bring a brown bag supper and socialize with friendz before we start.
We have had t-shirts and hoodies printed, as I mentioned earlier. Also, and most beneficial, I took white 3-ring binders, you know
the ones with the clear outside pockets, and inserted pretty daisy paper with the Creative Friendzy logo printed on it. We then
sold these to our ladies for $2 each so that they can keep all of their handouts organized each friendzy. We are pushing the
paperwork to these ladies. Since we are doing the cooking unit, we have handed out substitution guides, menu organizing papers,
etc. We are having a blast.
Oh, have you ever heard of a mirror tag? Probably not. I have a friend who creates mirror tags--a single row of small glass
beads that shimmer in sun with a charm on the end. Then they are attached to your car mirror. Well, she has made one of these for
us with a daisy on it! They are now available to all our ladies. I gave the first one away for a door prize. WE ALWAYS have a
door prize. ALWAYS! Women love to win something, it really keeps them coming back. For our first week, the door prize was a
Friendz Memoriez Plate [see the January 2005 newsletter archive]. We shared that Great Idea with this give away. They LOVED it. Oh,
the ladies were jealous of the one that won that plate. We then handed out the little “saying” that went with the
plate. We printed the saying out (except said “you’re not the first person to receive this plate”) and
laminated them. We gave each woman one to take home and do her own plate.
Now, about that foldable tote...I would sure love to win that from you all so that I could give it away as a door prize! The
women would love that! [Tracy, since we printed your report, as promised in the February newsletter, the tote is on its way!]
Hey, our new web site is open. It’s www.wlcccreativefriendzy.com The man who started it for us simply scanned
our first newsletter, but we will soon be “re-doing it” with pictures and new information. Go see us, though. We
are going to be printing a new newsletter each unit and many other things will be printed on this new web page.
That’s all for now I guess. If I think up something else, I’ll let ya know! Good to be friendz!

P.S. Again - did I mention we had 53 women there? Wow!
