June 2007 Sum...Sum...Summertime Kathy and I have been known to “escape” loads of work and scoot to a Mexican restaurant (our branch office) for some salsa therapy. Life seems much better after laughter, prayer and chips. Here are some ideas, you may consider… • What about a spontaneous picnic? It doesn’t have to be fancy. Cruise through a local drive-thru, pick up some chicken or sandwiches, call some friends and you’re ready to go. • How about a book discussion out on the deck while everyone sips lemonade? • Or if you’re truly adventurous, drive by your friend’s home and “friendnap” her for an hour or two. Zip off to an ice cream store or a local spa for pedicures and chatting. Friendships aren’t difficult to maintain if you are willing to be flexible and open to some fun ideas. This summer, plan to be spontaneous and warm to the idea of deeper friendships. Happy summer! Pam & Kathy
